Settling In

scattered letters imageWhen your child firsts starts pre-school, they will need time to settle. This is possibly the first time they have been left with an adult other than yourself or a close friend or relative. It may be the first time they have played with a group of children. We will work with you to help find the best way to settle your child into the pre-school and ensure both they and you are happy and comfortable. Most children take a few weeks to settle and tears are not uncommon. When your child is ready to be left, please make sure you return promptly to collect them at the same time as everyone else.

Keypersons

Every child is assigned a Keyperson - a member of staff whose particular responsibility is to help them settle, guide their progress and mark their achievments. The Keyperson also provides a convenient point of contact between parents / carers and the pre-school.
